Ages

Girls ages 10 - 18 are welcome to tryout for our upcoming travel season.

Practices

• Practices are held at Flagstaff Athletic Club East or NAU Rolle Activity Center.
• Teams practice 2-3 times per week.

When

Our travel season begins with tryouts in November 2025 and runs through May 2026.

Teams will compete in either the Club, Championship or Open division of AZ Region Volleyball. They will also attend the additional tournaments listed below (in Season Fees section).

TRYOUTS

Tryouts are competitive and athletes will have to EARN a position on a team. Some athletes will be cut at tryouts.

Athletes are divided by age, then by skill. Athletes can play up but will not be eligible to play on a lower age level.

TRYOUT DATES

AGES 11 - 14: November 8, 2025

AGES 15 - 18: November 22, 2025

• Your athlete's age level is dictated by how old they will be as of July 1, 2026.

INCLUDED IN SEASON FEES

• 2 x 2-hour practices/week at FAC/NAU, court rentals, training/volleyball equipment

• Athlete tournament entry fees at AZ Region, three-day in-state tournaments, and three-day out-of-state tournaments

• Gear included = jerseys, club t-shirts, sweatshirt, warm up, backpack

• Coaches pay & travel stipends, coaches' gear, coaches' hotel & parking fees, coaches' continuing education, background checks, NAU parking passes for coaches, AZ region dues, USAV memberships, and administrative costs

• Season fees also include recruitment advisement for parents and players throughout the recruiting process

Not included in Season Fees

• Players will need their own shoes, kneepads, socks, and black spandex/leggings - we will have a player shop if you'd like to purchase through the club

• All expenditures related to player travel - flights, fuel, hotels, parking (if athletes are parking & practicing at NAU - they will need to purchase a parking pass or arrange drop off/pick up)



• Parking and entry into tournaments for families and fans

• Any expenditures at tournaments (souvenirs, shirts, etc.)

• Additional tournaments (including if your team qualifies for the Junior National Qualifier)

• Additional strength and conditioning

• Mental game coaching

AZ REGION DISTINCTIONS

• AZ Region OPEN teams play on Sundays (full-day tournaments, usually down in Phoenix valley area)
• AZ Region CHAMPIONSHIP teams play on Saturdays (half-day tournaments, usually down in Phoenix valley area)
• AZ Region CLUB teams play on Saturdays (half-day tournaments, usually down in Phoenix valley area)

SEASON FEE DISCOUNTS

• Sibling discount = $750 (applied to ONE sibling's fees)
   
• Pay in Full = $100 (Must pay the ENTIRE season fee on the day of tryouts - can include sponsorships turned in ON THE DAY OF TRYOUTS)
  • This discount will not apply if sponsorships are brought in after the day of tryouts.
  • May only apply one discount to season fees
