Tryouts for 14s - 8:15-9:45AM (check-in at 7:45AM)

Tryouts for 13s - 10:30-12:00PM (check-in at 10:15AM)

Tryouts for 11-12s - 12:45-2:15PM (check-in at 12:30PM)

 

Tryouts for 15s - 8:30-10:00AM (check-in at 8:00AM)

Tryouts for 16-18s - 10:45-12:15PM (check-in at 10:30AM)

$15 TRYOUT FEE WILL BE PAYED ONLINE WHEN REGISTERING FOR TRYOUTS

 

What to do BEFORE tryouts

  1. FIND YOUR ATHLETE'S AGE GROUP

  2. ATTEND YOUR AGE-GROUP'S OPEN HOUSES

  3. BECOME A MEMBER OF AZ REGION OF USAV + SAVE MEMBERSHIP CARD

  4. REGISTER FOR GIRLS CLUB VOLLEYBALL

  5. PRINT + SIGN DOCUMENTS OUTLINED ON THIS PAGE >>

    • These steps must be completed before attending tryouts or athlete will not be able to participate

What to Print and Complete BEFORE Tryouts

Print, sign and bring the following documents in addition to your online registration for tryouts:

  1. USAV Medical Release Form: 2026 Player Medical Release
  2. Digital/printed proof of AZ Region membership 

(can show a digital screenshot of membership card)

 

Printed copies will be available at the Parents' Meetings

 

TRYOUT DAY: WHAT TO EXPECT

DROP-OFF

  • Arrive 30 minutes before your tryout.
  • Use the dirt road behind FAC East and drop athletes at the back gym entrance.
  • Coaches will check registration and required paperwork.
  • Athletes will check in, receive a number, try on gear, and warm up.
  • Tryouts start promptly.

PICK UP & TEAM OFFERS

  • Line up for pickup 30 minutes before tryouts end.
  • Team offers will be communicated at the end of tryouts.
  • If offered a spot, parents will receive an email to accept the offer and confirm sizing.
  • Coaches will collect the tryout deposit at your vehicle.
  • Complete your paper contract before leaving.

PLEASE PLAN AHEAD

  • Expect the process to take 30–60 minutes after tryouts end.
  • Some teams may have travel/hotel items that require immediate parental attention.
  • December schedules and remaining to-do items will be emailed afterward.

TRYOUT DAY: WHAT TO BRING

Bring the following items with you to tryouts:

  1. Printed/completed copy of USAV Medical Release Form
  2. Digital/printed proof of AZ Region membership (show digitally, print out not required)
  3. After tryouts: Deposit of $1000 - $1500 to be accepted once athlete makes a team
  • Cash, check, or pay through Zelle on the day of tryouts
  • Find deposit amounts under Girls Club Volleyball

FUNDRAISING

Club volleyball is expensive; we do our best to give every athlete the opportunity to raise the funds to help them play! Check out these Financial Resources to see how you can raise money for the upcoming season.

PRACTICE PLAYER POSITIONS

If your athlete cannot commit to travel for the season but does want to tryout for a "practice" position please "register for tryouts" and tryout with her age group. If your athlete makes a team as a practice player, the cost is $1500.00 for the entire season*. 

*practice players do not receive discounts for paying in full or having a sibling. The deposit will be $500 on the day of tryouts.
